you-- dog, living with an old woman. their life is quiet and peaceful. the dog is small. so is the old lady.

need-- the life to remain the same. stay quiet, still. keep getting milkbones and watching wheel of fortune.

something isn't right-- the old lady starts going outside to feed the birds more. she starts spending lots of time with the birds. the dog thinks that there is one bird in particular who is always around. the bird also keeps staring at the dog, at night. theres something in its eyes.

search-- the dog starts to come outside with the old lady to stay close and to protect her. the dog finds increasingly elaborate ways to watch the birds including losing sleep.

find-- one day the birds are all gone after the dog spends a long time barking at them intensely.

take--however the silence is eerie and the dog can't shake the feeling that they're watching him from somewhere he can't see them.

return-- the dog continues to live with the old lady like he did before.

changed-- dog is more cautious and aware of surroundings.

reveal-- one day the dog gets up at night after hearing something. he paws open a door to a closet or something and theres a horfiying nest of birds all looking at him in the wall or somewhere.
